Thank you Marin for your kind words. I was told due to the profound/total loss of hearing that hearing aids would unfortunately not be an option. I have reluctantly accepted that Metallica / Iron Maiden will be rehearsing in my deaf ear 24/7.

I have an MRI booked for next Thursday followed by ENT on Friday. I have given up hope that my hearing will return but will ask for the injections anyway.
