Trigeminal Neuralgia, Brain Tumor, Tinnitus — How to Live a Normal Life?

Trying to train my replacement at work and go down in hours. Maybe change my job. I’m still moving and trying to live the quietest life I can. Lol. Thanks for inquiring. So yours was pretty recent. Did they take it out or did they do radiation?

How Do You Experience Delayed Ear Pain?

So I hadn’t been out in probably two months. I went out for St. Patty’s Day to a place where a bunch of friends meet up. It’s a tradition! I made sure to drink very heavily and wore earplugs. That was last Saturday. I can usually get through functions like that but only if I drink a lot to numb...

    Hyperacusis/Noxacusis: Jaw Tightness

Yep, if I get a really bad migraine due to loud sounds, my jaw locks up. My physical therapist said that our teeth are never supposed to touch, unless we are chewing something. Sometimes when you’re in a lot of pain you clench your teeth and don’t notice it. I hate talking to people when my jaw...

Trigeminal Neuralgia, Brain Tumor, Tinnitus — How to Live a Normal Life?

It’s a left sphenoid meningioma and it’s wrapped around my eye nerves and my carotid artery. They gave me three weeks to not lose my eyesight due to pressure against pituitary and optic chiasm. Hence brain surgery number 2. It’s currently 2.5 cm by 4.8 cm. I honestly don’t know what happened...

What Are the Chances of a Cure/Treatment for Hyperacusis in 10-20 Years?

Ok this might sound way out there but if they can’t heal us, could they just make us deaf? I have tinnitus, TMJ, trigeminal neuralgia, and pain hyperacusis all caused by a brain tumor. A brain tumor that they can’t get out of my head. I’ve tried tons of medicines, traditional and non...

Trigeminal Neuralgia, Brain Tumor, Tinnitus — How to Live a Normal Life?

Hello Everyone, After three years I’m finally posting to ask for advice. Has anyone found a way to make life livable? Family gatherings, football games for your kids, a horn beeping in traffic. Those put you on your knees. I’ve tried high doses of Gabapentin, anti-anxiety meds, marijuana...
