New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

So much drama here. She is a professional medical researcher developing a novel treatment for tinnitus - the scientific process is rigorous and there are innumerable factors to be considered. I always knew this would be 2023. I don't understand how people can get upset at a deadline they ASSUMED...

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

I don't think it's a pupil issue per say, I think it's trauma, PTSD, extreme stress - I'd consider seeing a pain psychologist or therapist who treats chronic sensory disorders. You are isolated and in extreme fight or flight all day - intervention is needed.

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

Yes of course - take a look at physiological changes that happen when it a sympathetic state (fight flight freeze) - pupils do that. You know that is only going to scare this person, right? Its also VERY much linked to sympathetic states (fight flight freeze).

    Gabapentin (Neurontin)

300 mg a day, meaning 100 mg 3x a day? Or just a single dose?

    Tinnitus Likely from Ketaconazole

The first thing I would point out is that you're not supposed to use that strength everyday. I think at most twice a week?

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

An accurate statement would be: People here tried it, but it made very little, or no difference in their tinnitus. Not enough to justify the price at least. That was my experience. Truthfully no one expected a cure.

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Yeah I was wondering, I have never heard the word dangerous used to describe it.

Same here. I've been worse since I returned it.

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Kind of. I unfortunately cannot enjoy it with my tinnitus being so severe now, it's ruined my quality of life. Moved here to be with family while I'm in medical leave.

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

I returned mine exactly at the 4 week window because it didn't feel like it was helping in a cumulative way as I've mentioned before. But, now I regret returning it and might rent it again. I really liked having it there for tough tinnitus days, as it softened the sound a bit.

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

They are running an alternate social media ad that is a video, and there are now three comments of people saying it didn't work for them. That said, we all know that the most vocal ones are the ones that leave comments.

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

It still offers a sizzle like reduction after 15 minutes use but even 4 weeks in I still cannot say for sure I notice a cumulative lessening overall. (Which is the real goal right?)

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Just saw Neosensory Buzz Facebook ad. Things aren't looking good on social media. There's already a user saying it made his tinnitus worse over 2 weeks. Another said he did the full 8 weeks and it did nothing at all (using 20-30 minutes daily).

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Less intrusive after use. Sorry I realized that sentence was confusing. I was describing my usual tinnitus quality as "sharp and intrusive" and the Neo takes some energy out of it and brings it more to a "sizzle." Realistically, because they wouldn't make a penny off of it that way. Their own...

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

I wouldn't say "literally." TRT isn't his main thing. He's an Audiologist who uses multiple treatment modalities for the highest success rate. He's more focused on neuroplasticity, meditation and stress reduction while a true cure is being researched. He posts videos on Lenire and Neosensory...

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Can you describe what your tinnitus was like pre Neosensory Buzz, and post Neosensory Buzz? Quality, volume, intrusiveness changes? Thanks :)

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Quality of the sound, it's sharp and intrusive, more like a sizzle.

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Update: I've noticed that the device helps the most on my worst tinnitus days. It takes the edge off considerably, even just using it for 15 minutes. However, at 4 weeks it's hard to say if I'm noticing a cumulative effect yet. I admit that I paused after week 2, then restarted again a week...

Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

I joined to comment. Neosensory Buzz has been giving me the same "sizzle/hiss" reduction immediately after use that others here have reported. I've been using it 2 weeks. I wouldn't be so dismissive. They're publishing results in a well respected journal: Frontiers in Neuroscience, with their...
