@ownagealan, I have the feeling you are going to be okay. Ear infections and ETD are soo slow to get rid of but you'll get there!

I'm currently experiencing ETD. I have fluid and pressure in my ears, along with pressure on my face, jaw, and neck as well. When I do the Valsalva, sometimes it sounds as if I was inflating a balloon, you know the "air" sound. I also hear some crackles. But obviously I'm not healty so who knows.

I've had good sleep recently. I think habituation is starting to develop. I don't want to take meds for this.

Hi! I had 0.5/10 tinnitus since July/August, it was stable, I felt almost normal, no spikes. Then in November I went to the cinema and got a terrible permanent spike (or I think so) at the same time that I have serious ETD issues. But the tinnitus remained constant, no spikes to loud noises...

I had a permanent spike in november, I think it is permanent because yesterday I had the first real spike, it lasted 1 minute or so.
