So the effect of steroids for 2 weeks was not permanent on your tinnitus? I really wished I tried it but my doctors kept telling I had normal hearing tests despite the fact that I knew something was wrong after an acoustic trauma.

Growing up, I always heard about cancers and infectious diseases. I never heard of this most excruciating and incurable condition. Both doctors and your own family members shun you because they don't know what it feels like. I hope fate or higher power can have slightly more mercy.

I asked a few ENTs and no one would give steroids unless I had sudden hearing loss. i even had 3 hearing tests. Personally maybe I should purposely screw up the tests to get steroid treatment. I'm just wasting time doing nothing.
