I got tinnitus from Neomycin. I suggest you to stop using it immediately. Neomycin ear drops are a bitch if you have undetected ear drum perforation.

Another point is that lots people can change there T by clenching/moving jaw. I would guess it is because cheek muscle is so close to cochlear which can physically change cochlear behavior, like making it more intense, etc. If the T signal is generated inside the brain, it would be harder to...

This is why I believe the "brain filling in input gap" theory is wrong. As removing all the inputs doesn't make it catastrophically worse.

I have seen a person had this treatment on another T forum. Unfortunately, it failed although he decided to leave the implant in his body.

It would be a very interesting topic I think. If researchers can figure that out, T could possibly be cured or maybe turned into hearing loss which wouldn't bother us this much.

Interesting. I experience the same thing. I have multiple noises in my ears but the most annoying and loudest beeping+buzzing ringing decreases when I do so. I also found that bend down for a while and when I feel my head is full of blood, I feel relief as well.
