Thx for that correction. I think the one hyperacusis that is the least understood is noxacusis, though. People just don't seem to understand that even opening a bottle causes a reaction in the ears. Once you're at that level, it's a whole different ballgame compared to any other hypeacusis.

There's two type of hyperacusis: Pain from sound (noxacusis AKA pain hyperacusis) and hearing things too loud (loudness hyperacusis), like you can hear a mouse running across the room as if it's a motorcycle.
