I'm still dealing with this tinnitus battle, which we all know can be challenging at times. However, I'm doing my best not to let it stop me from living a fulfilling life. As Cameron Hanes says, "We must endure."

Newest Dentist Visit Recommendations for a Person with Pre-Existing Tinnitus / Hyperacusis?

I, too, need to go back to the dentist for a cleaning and filling, as I have not been since getting tinnitus. I can't avoid it for the rest of my life, so I guess we will just have to see what happens. And it seems that wearing hearing protection does not really help due to bone conduction.

@ErikaS I have worked out my whole life running and lifting weights. I stopped after getting tinnitus for a whole year. I started back working out in December and running again the last 3 months. It has greatly improved my mental well being. I usually go to the gym at 5am to beat the crowds.

Tinnitus Gets Worse with NO2 Supplements

I also work out 4 days a week, and have worked out for about 15 years. I stopped taking pre-workout supplements years ago, none of that stuff is really FDA regulated. In general, I would say stay away from it; you honestly do not need it for a good workout.

Cochlear Implants as a Treatment of Tinnitus

I heard a theory from an audiologist sometime back; he thought hearing aids were still important for people with tinnitus and hearing loss, but not enough hearing loss to need hearing aids. The theory is that the hearing aids will help to still possibly stimulate neurons which may be important...

Moderate Hearing Loss, Tinnitus and Hyperacusis from Shooting Guns (AR-15, AK-47, Shotgun, Pistol)

Honestly probably not but who knows. I read a research paper on the efficacy of just oral steroids (no HBOT combined) when I got on the steroids 3 days after my acoustic trauma, and from what I recall, the efficacy to show "some" improvement in an audiogram was around 30%. But then again, the...

Moderate Hearing Loss, Tinnitus and Hyperacusis from Shooting Guns (AR-15, AK-47, Shotgun, Pistol)

The medical research indicates steroids only work immediately after the event, within the first two weeks ideally. I got on steroids the 3rd day after my acoustic trauma event and had zero improvement from the steroids.

@Pixelito I pretty much hear it all day everyday unless I am staying busy doing something outside.
