@Scruffiey I feel like its been ok, and I barely listen to music or audio as much as I used to anymore through headphones. That's why I use a balanced approach I don't know what else to do. Terrifying Fleeting Deafness for Hours: Is It Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss?

I'm not sure. I experience a lot of fleeting tinnitus (deafening episodes), usually for no clear reason. However, I've noticed a slight increase in my baseline level recently. Hopefully, it will settle down at some point. I might be going through some kind of spike, but most of the time, I try...

25-Year Tinnitus Anniversary and I'm Spiking Again After Attending a Concert

That’s interesting. I thought people said wearing earplugs at the dentist was a bad idea because of the occlusion effect, so I didn’t wear them for any of the appointments I had; and there were quite a few. Are you saying I might have caused more damage to my ears because of that? Well... damn...

Seeking Support for Severe Tinnitus Spike After Very Loud Restaurant with DJ Playing Music

Passed by an Ambulance with Sirens On — Now My Tinnitus Is Spiking

I use earplugs, but they don’t seem to help me. Silicone ones are especially frustrating because they always fall out of my ears no matter what I do. It feels like I’m not only cursed with this condition but also with small ear canals that make it hard to get a proper fit with earplugs to...

It's 24/7. It's more reactive than anything. It's most noticeable with background noises. There's a lot of whistling morse code. But then I also have the typical "eeeee" sound. It varies but, I'd say it might be hovering between level 3-5/10 so moderately noticable. Sometimes it can suddenly...

Tinnitus Ramps Up in Hearing Protection

Yes, it’s quite a dilemma. I think the most practical approach is to use ear protection when necessary, but not all the time. For instance, if you know you’ll be in loud environments, it’s a good idea to wear it. Similarly, if there is a chance of unexpected loud noises, using ear protection...

Tinnitus from One Loud Piano-Rock Concert
