Read about moringa, piper. Some paper suggests it may be helpful for HPV-18.

Thanks. Not doing well.
Yesterday I had T spike, today I need to spend many hours with earplugs. My left ear is so sensitive to any sound.
How are you doing?
@4Grace
@Yosemite some days ago you advised me Ambroxol. My main issues are loudness hyperacusis and tinnitus.
Can you share your experience with Ambroxol? Will it help for T and loudness H?
@MadeleineHope it is just too loud and causes T spike and H worsening. My main issues are severe loudness hyperacusis and variable tinnitus. Every day is a struggle not to worsen my H and T, not to get new accoustic trauma.
@SharonBell I have hearing loss 60db from 15 to 18 kHz. Above 18kHz I don't hear anything - no response to sound. I know what hearing loss means at this range and how awful T is with such hearing loss.
@MadeleineHope you are lucky you can wash hairs with earplugs. For me it is too loud in protection. Many things at home are too loud for me in double hearing protection. I did not have much luck with sound therapy, seems it made me worse. Almost every sound is too loud for me. 40db too loud,my...
I tried many but they did not help me for H:
-HBOT (this was helpful for T but now too loud in double hearing protection)
-sound therapy
-diet and situps to increase BDNF
-overprotection (many hours with earplugs but not 24/7) - just few weeks, maybe I should continue more weeks/months...
I work from home. I do not attend any voice call, they understood that I cant with severe hyperacusis. I turn off speakers in device manager. Also set volume to 0 in my laptop.
I have severe hyperacusis. My T can spike even from tiny sound like 50 db. I have spike very often. I am in spike from yesterday. In my case usually noise is responsible for spike.
HBOT is hiperbaric oxygen therapy. You go to hiperbaric chamber which is very loud and breathe air with 90% oxygen (or more) and pressure is higher than normal. I used 1.6 athmosperic pressure. It was helpful for me for many years but lately it is too loud for me even in double hearing...
Thanks. I'm not doing well. H very severe. I cant talk to anyone as my own voice and other people voices are to loud for me. Even sneezing can spike me. I guess my ldl are below 40 db. I take 1 mg melatonin and herbs like lemon balm, passiflower, Valeriana officinalis to help me sleep with my T.
@Mo8409 Did you get rid of nox? What sound therapy you did? I was doing cricket sound and white noise (wearable noise generators) for short time. I am afraid sound made me even worse, not sure.
Yes, hiperbaric oxygen chamber. Yes, for hearing loss.
Please notice it is helpful for me and for some people but when I advised my friend it was not helpful for her. So seems not for everyone.
Also chamber is very loud, I go there with double hearing protection.
And this was not my first 3 HBOT sessions. After each new accoustic trauma, HBOT is helpful in my case. This is the only thing I am certain is helpful in my case. But I had a situation I recommended HBOT to another person and it was not helpful for her. So you never know before you try, nobody...
Yes, I agree best to take HBOT short time after trauma. I got HBOT within 2 weeks from Valsalva.
Valsalva made my T worse but HBOT helped me. And I would not be so strict to 2 weeks, I think it is good to try even after 2 weeks. But anyway I am not a doctor and I do not recommend anything. I...
I have severe hyperacusis. So I have new accoustic traumas very often. 45db is too loud for me. Also After Valsalva maneuver things got worse. So HBOT helped for new T tone in my right ear.
It seems is best to take HBOT just after accoustic trauma or spike. For me HBOT was helpful but I know 1 person who claims it did not help her.
In my case helped for my recent spike. Difference was in right ear, in left seems no difference.
So after even not so loud noise my tinnitus spikes. Anyway last 3 nights I slept well (of course with help of melatonin and herbs), Tinnitus seems to be less bothersome now than before HBOT but it is still present all day and night.
Yes helped for tinnitus in my right ear. I am better now after HBOT than before. But unfortunately my tinnitus is very reactive and HBOT did not help for tinnitus reactivity and hyperacusis.
