I was watching from a distance; ) . I thought it was best for me to not think to much about this and it worked well. Most days I feel 100%. I will do better to keep up, going back tomorrow for a 30 day check up.

I am still alive, I had my second round of injections about a month ago and it was completely different than the first time. So much better. I now only hear my T if I am in a quiet place or I think about it. I definitely think the drug has something to do with this as well as habituation.

I am on the first round of injections and my T has spiked. I have hearing loss in the sense of the clogged / full feeling. My ear is itching like crazy so I believe that the hole is healing up.

After you go through the study where you may have got the real drug, you are able to go back 3 times and get the real drug. Its a win/win after first round.

Update- just got done with my second injection, my eardrum was still numb so they just injected into the hole that was from yesterday. No pain what so ever, just some popping from small air bubbles in the fluid.

Update- Slept through the night just fine (before injections I only had problems with sleep in the first 3 weeks of T). Woke up and still have the full/stuffy feeling in my ear and T is at 8/10. Before the shots T ran from 5/10 to 7/10.

From what I have read, AM-102 is for tinnitus, with no time restrictions. AM -101 is for acute tinnitus. AM-102 I believe is still in pre-clinical stage.

@amandine I felt that I knew more about the drug than the people at the study center. This may or may not be true, but it sure felt that way. I learned most of it from this forum, its a good community of people with a common interest for help.

I have been using the lipoic acid for 1 month and have not had any side effects. I take one 600mg pill every morning, not just on the days that I have spikes. @amandine I found that alpha lipoic acid really helped to calm the spikes and balance to a tolerable level. I take 600 mg a day.
