    Health Anxiety

@Lisa Robinson I too have wondered many a times that I might have MS or ALS with the constant body twitching, my carpel tunnel issues due to excessive typing and brain fog at times. It's just the worse. Medical tests and things are so expensive, even doctor visits that it's frustrating.

Pulsatile Tinnitus With Cold and Severe Sinus Congestion

Yeah, and I believe since your congestion keeps coming back, it definitely might be what's causing that whooshing sound in your ears. I believe you should try some nasal decongestants and something like neti pot to reduce your symptom of congestion. And get yourself checked by a doctor for your...

Pulsatile Tinnitus With Cold and Severe Sinus Congestion

Try taking steam and other measures for the blocked nose. I too experience this sound which seems like PT. I have the same sinus issues but the way I am dealing with them is taking steam regularly. Also, ETD + Sinus can sometimes lead to PT due to fluid in the ear. So, you should get that...

    Whooshing Sounds

I don't get the whooshing sound, although I can cause it by bending my head downwards. When I try to touch my feet. The whooshing isn't there unless I cause it by changing my head position. And it's in a couple of positions only that thi whooshing comes.

Hi Neil991, I hope you get better man, and you're in early stages so you could look at the AM101 trials. My T started in a similar fashion, 3 months before you. Unfortunately for us, this is not a condition doctors are familiar with or understand very well, specially the ones we go to. Things...

    Whooshing Sounds

It's like a rhythmic wind blowing in my ear, which at times feels pulsating but at other times doesn't. The air comes in rhythmic whooshes. Also, feel sudden pressure like rumbling/quivering sometimes which I can make go away or even trigger with a muscle in my ear.
  14. V

    Whooshing Sounds

Maybe, but also feels to you know come in waves. The whooshing has a pattern. Sometimes it seems pulsatile, other times it doesn't. Thanks for tips @Kaelon, I'm going to try these and I sure hope you are right. Googling the whooshing gives me only P.T. results which make me afraid. So, I'll not...

Yeah @Kaelon, I hope so. Thanks for being supportive. Today, my nose is blocked pretty badly, so hearing the whooshing whenever I bend my head forward. I just hope it's ETD related. Whooshing Sounds

@dan, it only happens in my right ear, not both and it's not there all the time only in certain positions. And it doesn't feel pulsatile. It's like a wave which settles after sometime.

    The Lack of Awareness

No Asian, you're not alone. It's just sad that so little is happening for us. I don't know why big pharma isn't getting into Tinnitus to search for possible cures. Is it because they don't think anything is possible? Otonomy, Autofony and Auris are much smaller companies (As far I know).

@attheedgeofscience Is even moderate use of headphones detrimental to hearing? A couple of hours each day at low volumes. Also, although I'm not sure of the accuracy of thee studies but as far as I am aware even excessive use of cellphones has been linked to Tinnitus.
