Been talking to chat gpt. Apparently rapid paced tones that don’t change and are in your brain rather than ears is a symptom of severe auditory hyperactivity and likely permanent. I’m fucked. If some of these tones don’t go away I’m out.

No longer able to sleep over 3 hours even on benzos. T is too intrusive and h causes every noise to jolt me awake. Nox is off and on I guess. Accidentally messed up my benzo cross taper and was taking way too little. Went up to almost the correct dose but it isn’t working.

Ears are so sensitive. Every car that drives by causes a squeak or a reaction in tinnitus. Can’t get away from the cars. Some pain around ear.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. We will see what today holds. Left ear feeling very sensitive and popping along with unstable tinnitus and H in both ears still. Nox seems…controlled? (Fingers crossed).

That is what I am doing right now because I tried to live normally and only protect myself from loud noise, but I got worse. I do not know what to do. My tinnitus just keeps getting worse. :(

So, what can be done? I live next to a busy road, and despite using double protection, I can feel every car that passes 😔 even in my closet.
