Hang in there please! We're all here for you. I've had a bad spike with added sounds for more than a month now too. My phone noise apps work great and I can combine some of the noises together like a running stream/waterfall/white noise. Well wishes to you and others.

Weekends are best for me because I know I'll be out and about. That, for me, is the best relief I can get because it helps take my mind off of T. I used to love the night but now I get anxious when it's bed time. I'm a lot better now than before though. Excercise and eating better has helped me.

Do you get that pressure feeling at times? I get that in my left ear (I have T in both ears) but not my right ear.

I've been using a white noise app when I go to bed. During the day i have either the radio or tv in the background although I can still hear it still. It's mostly bothersome at night. On good nights I can turn up the volume on my iPod only one click up but on bad days I turn it up 2-3 clicks...

Amandine--- maybe you can bring your phone with you and use a nature app sounds when you go sit outside or by the river/lake. There are good outside nature sound apps you can use if it's too quiet by the lake. Wish I had those near me but that's not the case.

Hi Kopesy. Yes, I have T in both ears. The dryer sound is just in my left ear though. Also my T is much louder in the left ear too---not sure if that's coincidence or some connection. Googling it solved nothing but just increase my anxiety. Did you do anything to stop the dryer noise?

My hearing checked out normal too so it kind of freaks me out when new sounds/sensations arise...

I used to run on the treadmill for a few miles but had to stop because I would hear the sound of the treadmill reverberating in my ears loudly for the next several hours. It was never explained why that was the case...

Hi Han! I'm sorry for what you are going through. Have you tried maskers? I'm using white noise to help block some of my T. I'm trying to diet as well to help myself overall. I'm trying to rid myself of salt and sugars hoping it may help.
