OK, I checked ibuprophen, and they only listed "hearing problems". Lorazepam listed hyperacusis. But I do know I´ve seen it on other medications.

But which medications are you thinking about? Maybe tinnitus just isn´t a side effect?

I have this swooshing as well. It comes in periodes, and occurs when I turn my head quickly from side to side. I do not think it´s caused by blood pressure-issues, considering how it comes and goes. dan: what do you mean when you say it´s blood turbulence in the ears?
