Hearing Aids with Notch Therapy — Post Your Experience!

Scan down on this page to the "notch therapy" section to read more about it. It's not new. I know one person (a good friend of my brother's) who said it saved his life. But it doesn't help everyone. https://www.signia-pro.com/en-us/sales-tools/tinnitus/ Here's more: Notch Therapy: A New...

Hearing Aids with Notch Therapy — Post Your Experience!

DaveFromChicago - While I appreciate your detailed reply, the white noise generators are not at all the same as notch therapy, which is the only thing I'm asking about here. It is a program added in your hearing aids (and can't be done on all brands) and is not a sound added, but a sound taken...

Hearing Aids with Notch Therapy — Post Your Experience!

I got my first hearing aid three weeks ago, Signia Charge and Go AX. Two days ago they programed in the notch therapy. I'm not sure if it's helping and I'm wondering if it can make my tinnitus worse. Last night my tinnitus was particularly loud. Could be a coincidence, I don't know. Please...

Will You Get Vaccinated for Coronavirus (COVID-19)? Can It Make Tinnitus or Hyperacusis Worse?

They give you the antibody test every time you donate blood, but they don't say anything about how high the level is, or what protection it can provide. I don't think anyone really knows anyhow. I have considered donating blood every few months to check for ongoing antibodies. But if they...

Will You Get Vaccinated for Coronavirus (COVID-19)? Can It Make Tinnitus or Hyperacusis Worse?

I'm not an anti-vaxer, but I'm having a hard time making the choice to get this vax. My situation: I got intermittent tinnitus 40+ years ago from too-loud music in bars. It became permanent 24/7/365 after being on Zoloft for 6 months 10+ years ago. Despite taking all precautions, I got...

What ADD/ADHD Medications Can I Use When I Have Tinnitus?

My tinnitus was caused by an SSRI (Zoloft). My ENT said any antidepressants could make it worse. I also have ADHD and was told that most of those meds can make it worse too. Is there anything I can take that won't make my tinnitus worse?
