I don't know for sure what caused my T but my gp treated me for an ear infection and saw fluid behind the ear drum.

I've had T for one week now. It came on in my right ear as a mechanical buzzing but then shifted into a high pitch squeal the next day. The very next day, I woke up with the same mechanical buzzing in my left ear and now it has shifted to a squeal as well. It's constant. I'm now tapering off...

Also thankfully I haven't had to use a masker to fall asleep yet. But I've also been so emotionally exhausted and probably because of the meds I fall asleep pretty easily even with the sound.

But actually that brings up a question that I have. Does T ever just resolve itself completely? It seems on these threads that people just learn to deal with it after a year or so. I don't have a year to learn to deal with it! I have to keep going with life. I have a full-time job and family...

Did you do it? I am scheduled next week for a screening but nervous that it might make this go worse.

She won't. She's the least anxious person that I know and she wants me just to trust her that I'm probably just anxious about this and if I don't pay attention to it it will go away.

I've never heard of trobalt before. Who would prescribe that? I took a Xanax for the first time today. I don't think it reduced the loudness but I seemed to feel a little better than I have recently.
