I agree that the tinnitus research will target both acute and chronic. Think of the number of war veterans that returns home witch chronic tinnitus... Also the number of people affected by tinnitus increases every day, so good treatments (or even a cure) will come.

I think he is absolutely right to consider possible side-effects before taking drugs. It's a good thing that Trobalt (or even Trobalt/Keppra) is working for you and others who tried it. But there are people who's had nasty side-effects. It's up to each and one of us, should we take it or not...

Totally agree with you, and if Autifony can come up with a way to reduce tinnitus with up to 75% as mentioned before that would be such a relief...

Perhaps the solution is, not only one, but two or more methods... Maybe a pill or ear injection in combination with Vagus Nerve Stimulation or TRT or something else. Where the first is used to cure or heal the cochlea and the other to reprogram the brain.

Wear earplugs and be careful. Life is too short to let tinntus dictate the terms. Having a good time has always had a positive effect on my reaction to T. All the best!

I also have clicking sound when I swallow, mostly in my right ear (my worst ear). It began at about the same time as my tinnitus, strange thing is I kinda like that clicking sound. Every now and then it disappears (for example when having a cold) and that really freaks me out for some reason...

If they find a cure or even a treatment to keep tinnitus at a low level - they will make profit.

Started one week after noise exposure. But I didn't have ringing ears right after the exposure, wich is why I don't know if my T is because of loud music or if there's another reason for it....
