Tinnitus Since
09/2013
Nothing to celebrate about... however it's good to see that it's been reduced, A LOT. The worst was probably at 4-6 months in. Anyway, wanted to share and if anyone had questions feel free to ask. I did experience some relief a few times when I thought it went away. No such luck in keeping it away though. One day, we will all be cured!

Hi Luckyman glad to hear your tinnitus isn't to bad after 2 years..lots of love glynis

That's great! Mine has never improved, it has probably gotten worse. Tinnitus is all so different for everyone. I used to hope and pray it would go away, that wasn't going to happen so I would hope for a low day, that used to happen one day everyone other month or so but no more. I don't hope or pray about it anymore and in a way I think that has helped me a tiny bit.

My two years comes up next month. Recent subtle improvement though. I've been less concerned with noises than the accompanying sound intolerance.

Congratulations!!! I think there are quite a lot of cases of it improving by two years but they usually start posting here. Mine improved at several points over 17 months but I've now lost the improvement for the most part.

Did you have any hearing loss within a standard range or above 8 kHz?

Any improvements, Bill?
I am not a superstitious person, but I care about T so much that I don't want to take any chances about jinxing anything. I might have been free of T if not for several secondary acoustic traumas that I have had. In any case, I can say that I am happy about the outcome of attempting to protect my ears when I can do so.

I had loss at 3khz what about you?

Very good hearing in the standard range, but online tests show tinnitus ear cannot hear above 14kHz, non-tinnitus ear can.

Do you have 4khz loss?
I had good hearing until the ear tests which damaged my hearing further.
