So everyone here knows me and ..yes my tinnitus has not gone away..
It sucks but l have learned to just deal with it? I can't hear it with sounds it in open rooms. It's weird?

My tinnitus is very strange...it sounds weird to I can't really describe it well. But one thing I can say it's the worst in, in closed rooms like bathrooms with no background I really don't know why that is?

I still have ETD My ears still continue to have pressure and I have to swallow to have any relief.

I haven't seen a dr since john hopkins. I am seeing my dr again June 2 since I didn't do what he told me ( oops) I ran out of my sinus stuff ...not sure if that's really what's going to even help...

So any advice? Should I continue to think it's ETD or should I suck it up and live with it?

I think you should try and live with it. I just got diagnosed with tinnitus and although there is a chance it might go away I don't like to bring my hopes up too much. Sigh i wish it can just go away but i guess that is life. But i would like you to know although the noise might be annoying it is good to be positive. People suffer way more debilitating diseases that cannot be toned out and they live their life to the fullest. Sometimes i watch their documentaries to encourage me. But i know EXACTLY what you mean about close rooms like bathrooms. It is really noisy in there. Stay strong Marshall :)

Sounds like you are habituating? If so, continue on that path and try not to think about T at all... :)

Maithe keep doing what your doing. It seems your doing well in your habituation. But if the doctor thinks it may be etd and wants you to try some sinus meds give it a shot. Hope all is well and take care.

You have ETD. Theres three types of dysfunctions I'm aware of: closed (clogged or swollen), stays open or doesn't regulate air pressure properly in the middle ear. ET's and ears are delicate. ETD symptoms aggravate a persons T level. So you might of had a very low T prior to and didn't notice it. Keep seeing your doctor! Also (very important) do you have allergies and have you been tested by an allergist?

I've been trying to see a allergist for the pass 3 month my dr told me he was going to send me to one but because of the code the code department wrote. They won't let me see one the code is for my t . And the dr know my t is related to my ETD due to allergies so tomorrow I'm going to talk to a supervisor about it I'm done trying to talk to the person's in the code department all I Want is to see a allergist specialist not a Ent

If you cant see one, keep a simple journal of your symptoms and the local pollen count. There other things youcant account for such dust mites and mold unless you already know.
My allergy test results from before I had T helped me identify the primary cause once I realized it was related.

Good to hear from you again; sorry you still struggling with ETD. @Jay M sounds like they have the right idea; maybe you had a very low T prior to ETD and now you hear it.

Pollen can cause problems for those with both allergies and T; symptoms leading to ear and ET issues. Pollen alone is debated as a single cause for T but I believe in its possibility. Google "local pollen count". I go online and use an app on my phone from p0llen.c0m. Its sounds like youre definitely allergic to some type of pollen.
