Hi folks,

I'm getting massive anxiety on waking up in the morning. I know exactly what it is of course, it's the thought of having to get through another day with Tinnitus. It's a horrible feeling. It would be nice to wake up refreshed and relaxed.

Anyone else like this?

Thanks.

Was just coming on here to post the exact same thing!!! How spooky.

I get better during the day, I know that once I'm up and about it gets better... But I almost don't want to get up and about

Hi there
Yes, open eyes, oh no! another day to manage. I'm sorry you are so anxious, I am too. I've had T for many years but it's become worse due to sertraline. Mine mostly seems worse in the morning, I live alone, and bang! another day with the torment. Some people say "leap out of bed and get busy". I'm not young and that's not easy. I so wish my sert meds weren't changed as I had habituated to bad T. Some days it's a 9 now. I do hope that your anxiety dissipates as your day goes on. Apparently brain activity is at its highest first thing in the morning. Hug

Try slow deep breathing in and out with your hand on your chest breathing out slowly.
