Any Metal in Peltor X4A? Safe for Use in MRI?

I need to get an MRI done on my knee after a really dumb injury, but I'd like to protect my ears before going in with that noisy machine. Mack's earplugs might do fine, but I'd just like to know if my 3M Peltor X4As have any metal in them?

I'd advise you to call the 3M company to confirm. That is what I did as well for my musician's earplugs before using them during my MRI scan.

Most ear muffs have some metal in the headband. Best plan is to call the MRI in advance, and inquire if they have some compatible ear muffs as well for you to wear. You should double protect for any MRI's.
