Does anybody have any great advice on how to get through the early days of coping with recent SSHL? I am experiencing all sorts of weird things on top of the tinnitus - slight unsteadiness, buzzing sensations on the side of my head with the hearing loss, some reactive tinnitus or maybe TTTS. It seems disproportionate to the actual hearing loss (moderate hearing loss of low frequencies in my left ear).

Is this all something that can be expected from the process of recovering? I estimate I'm about one month in, as the hearing loss didn't register as anything other than a clogged ear until the tinnitus kicked in around September 7.

As a side note, it's crossed my mind that some of the more bizarre phenomena I'm experiencing might be the fact I'm in back half of a Prednisolone regime prescribed by my ENT. Is that possible?

Thanks, and apologies for the desperate ramblings!
