Cause of Tinnitus
Unknown/meds? Stress?
Hi. I was just wondering (hoping) if anyone has/is using any vitamins that helps maybe reduce the noise? Or help?
Its just im getting a little desperate...
And while i try to maybe distinguish a cause...i need a bit of relief other than anti depressants....
Thank u so much x

Vitamins didn't help me. I did get a little bit of relief from bioflavonoids. Either that or it was just coincidence, I'm not sure, but I do continue to take them. Here's the Amazon UK link for the brand and dosage I take: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Natures-Life-Bioflavonoids-000-Tablets/dp/B00020IFA0/

Have your thyroid levels checked. Hypothyroidism is a possible factor in tinnitus. Also, if you can have your adrenal health checked, that's another potential culprit. Seems like there's a lot of things in our body that can lead to tinnitus symptoms.

You're still very early into tinnitus. Do whatever you can to relax, and distract yourself from the tinnitus as much as possible. That will give you the best chance of it fading away, whether a little or a lot. If you need to take ADs to help you feel better, by all means do it. It's less stressful on your body than battling the tinnit

Vitamins don't help tinnitus unless your body is missing some but that is unlikely. Please save your cash.

But im not eating so well because of how its making me feel? Maybe itbis missing something?
Im just desperate... i guess

Check the link I gave you. It's got all the ingredients.

For more reviews on it, take a look at the listing on the Amazon U.S. site. Lots more info from users on what it does for them. http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Life-Bioflavonoids-Tablets-Lemon/dp/B00020IFAA/

Physicians or naturopaths probably check adrenal health through blood tests. That's how I found out my dog's adrenals were getting in bad shape, because her blood panel showed a trend toward Cushing's disease.

I can't afford a doctor, but if I could I would be on ADs right now, no doubt about it.

Hi, you are still very early into tinnitus and everything is very raw, but please believe it can still go. Have nice relaxing background sound playing. Avoid loud places. Try and get good sleep and please eat, you need to look after yourself right now.
You won't be able to get adrenals checked here, the NHS do not do it.
When you get bloods done ask for thyroid, iron, vitamin D, vitamin B12, any of them could play a part if deficient.
You could try magnesium as it is relaxing, relaxing is good, try body scanning just a few minutes a day to take your mind away from the T if only for a short while.

@Kay86
I have also taken that product and recieved significant relief from it when I had hyper-acusis and tinnnitus for a couple months.

How long did it take for those supplements to kick in to work and if you miss them, how long does it take for them to stop working? Also, what dosage do you take? :)
