Hi all!

I was writing something today and thinking I'm too verbose. I love to write, but I'm working on getting to the point.

What with all the long posts going on around here, I thought it would be fun to condense your best advice/hopeful message to a new tinnitus sufferer into a sentence/tweet (140 characters or thereabouts. - hashtags etc. optional.)

For the newbies out there, it's a quick read and goes straight to the heart. For we who feel we can give advice now, it forces us to look at what is most important to us to say. For all of us and TT Staff, it could be a nice way to get the word out about T on social media or to friends.

Here's my attempt (it's not easy!):
Suffering ends when suffering ends, not necessarily when tinnitus ends. #HabituationRocks #GivingBackHeals #GiveYourselfTime

Accepting that T is a reality in life, staying positive & patient, and living the rest of life enjoyably and abundantly to bury T suffering.

I like your hash tags, @awbw8! Although if we did something on Twitter, we might somehow work in the word "tinnitus" since that how people might search for it. I love the idea. And I like the posts here.
My tweet would be (although I think it is over 14o words, so I would have to cut it):

You don't "just have to live with it." Stay healthy. Stay positive. Stay strong. Get educated. Help yourself. And help others.
#tinnitusnation

I love #TinnitusNation @LadyDi! I think we would have to include #tinnitus, too. My hashtags were a little sillier, not the best for actually being searched, perhaps :)

Thank you @Della! I love that quote, too. It's applicable to everything - what else can we do :)
