I am hoping for some suggestions in dealing with a sudden increase in noise level. I have had continuous tinnitus since 2016 post chemotherapy. I had learned to deal with it fairly well by listening to audio books or music at bedtime.
Now, out of the blue, the noise (especially in my right ear) is so loud I can't think or concentrate in my office to get my work done. It also fluctuates and can get so loud it makes the side of my head feel odd. Doctors have not been much help in the past and I'm not real keen on bringing it up again with them.
I have recently started taking Chlorthalidone for nephrolithiasis but can't find anywhere that this can cause tinnitus. I would appreciate any suggestions.
