Hello,
Is it possible to use neuromodulation or other sound therapy to treat (I don't mean to mask it) bilateral hissing tinnitus?
I know that sound therapies are used to treat tonal tinnitus. Since I got tinnitus 2 months ago I've been trying some apps and I found an audio track with lots of sounds (similar to cicadas with crickets and birds) that cause residual inhibition for some minutes.
But, I'm not sure if it would be safe to listen to it very often as it's not an app designed for neuromodulation. It's just for masking using nature sounds.
Thanks.
Regards.
