Cause of Tinnitus
Accident/Screaming?
Hi everyone,

Following an ENT appointment I was at home when all of a sudden I started to feel slightly dizzy. I started to freak out because I wasn't sure what was causing my dizziness and I started to panic.

Shortly after my left ear became extremely full and I panicked even more because I had muffled hearing in my left ear. It almost felt like sound wasn't coming out of my ear.

It went away slowly after applying heat and resting for two days.

Has anyone had this before? My fullness is now barely noticeable and it's been like this since the first time my ear became full following an ear cleaning.

Possibly stress could make things worse. Most times when I feel aural fullness or eardrum flutter though, it's generally in response to some physical stimulus, usually being in a noisy environment. I'm glad things have settled for you.

Stress definitely causes my ear fullness to get worse, and with it, tinnitus worsens.
Do you have results applying heat in reducing aural fullness?
Really? Wow! Never tried it.
When aural fullness is more than I can take I take a diuretic (Furosemid).

Nice seeing you post again :)

Hope all is well...Fish

Stress can cause tons of weird things. From fullness to headaches, being dizzy, upset stomachs....it can wreak havoc on the body and mind.
