I know we have a lot of feline fans at TT. Notice all those kitty avatars? So let's share some cat photos!

Here, I'll start. This is Frances Jeanne, aka Franny. She is named after two back-to-back Florida hurricanes in 2004. Someone dumped her outside right before Hurricane Jeanne and she spent the storm outside, crying under my co-workers house. She was just a kitten and we adopted her shortly afterward. Little Franny will be 11 in April, around when we think she was born and celebrate her birthday. Today, she is helping my hubby with laundry.

A: I'm Fluffy Lion H*****r

Q: Who's your Daddy?
A: You are Daddy!:)

Q: What kind of cat are you?
A: The vet says I'm a Maine Coon.

Q: How old are you?
A: I'm 3+ years old.

Q: How did you find your new home?
A: Someone dropped me off here...they abandoned me!

Q: Do you have any brothers or sisters?
A: I have a stepbrother. We get along great! I also had a stepsister but we lost her recently.

Aw, those are pretty kitties @DebInAustralia and @just1morething. Thanks for posting!

I had an adopted cat years ago J1MT that looked a lot like Fluffy Lion. My vet also thought he was a Maine Coon, with maybe some Norwegian Forest cat. He was so handsome and such a sweetie. I miss him terribly still, although he's been gone more than two years. Here is an old photo of him.

Yes, Milly is a MC. I adopted her from a vet; during a visit to give my thanks to the practice for all their care for my beloved MC Max, whom I was forced to euthanise due to complications associated with feline leukaemia. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her! thankyou for the compliment. I love cats! its lovely to see all the beautiful fur babies here!

@DebInAustralia My mom had a MC. I have a special fondness in my heart for them. They are easy to fall in love with, aren't they? Thanks for sharing your delightful pictures!

Awww... Abe looks like @Kathi's avatar! Those bewitching eyes.

Here's my sweetie--and what my avatar is based upon--although I think Dude's eyes are even more bewitching! He's about 16 pounds and the most affectionate and vocal kitty I've ever had....love him so much and he's such a comfort. When I was going through the first few months after onset, he never left my side--always in the room with me or in my lap. :)

@Kathi My very first cat when I was three years old looked just like your Dude. It is amazing what a comfort they can be, and what a great story that he never left your side after your onset. Thanks for sharing!

This is Monkey. She is my daughter's cat, and she is a Norwegian Forrest Cat. My daughter found Monkey when she was only a few weeks old (she's 13 years old now) and she still doesn't know that she is a cat. She can climb a ladder but is terrified of trees.

I LUV all these new cool cats on this thread! Thanks @nills, @linearb, @jimH, @Albert Savage.

Is there anything cuter than a kitten,. Jim? Maybe three kittens!

And Albert, I think my beloved Dolan cat, who passed over the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago, may have been part Norwegian Forest cat. I posted his photo above in this thread.

If you love cat pictures, check out www.dailykitten.com. I am trying to get my Little Boy Kitty's pic posted there.
Thanks, all! Happy Friday, wherever you may be in the world.

Love Scottish folds, @Richard zurowski! Those two will grow up to be handsome guys. Are they brothers?

And FYI: Have you ever heard of Norton, also a Scottish fold? He was the subject of the U.S. book "The Cat Who Went to Paris," which was so popular it sparked two follow-up books. Norton became such a celebrity that when he died in 1999, the New York Times did an obituary on him and his death made prime-time TV news.

Hi lady di. Yes they are brothers from a litter of six. And no I haven't heard of norton. But now that you have mentioned it I will look it up. I will certainly be reading the book. Thank you very much for the information.
