I second that, and lets hope 2018 is a quieter one for all.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year.

May the new year bring forth a better treatment or a cure for us all. Or at the very least promising research :D

The love of family and friends a renewal of faith and hope, and happiness that lasts through every season-may these be your blessings at Christmas and for the New Year.

Thanks!!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all as well.

May we all have many reasons to celebrate and find meaning in life no matter what trials we face. :)

I'd like to wish you all a very merry Christmas. I hope you're all behaving yourselves and not doing anything that I wouldn't ;).

Try not to let tinnitus spoil the party; this especially applies if you're going through a bad patch.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone as well!

My tinnitus is very mild today, barely noticeable, and I was trying to remember what it was like on Christmas last year. I couldn't remember, so that's a good thing, because it means that whatever it was, it didn't get me down.

I hope for anyone who's having a bad T day, please make as many good memories of today as you can and focus on your blessings. When you look back on this day, the memory of the T will have faded away and only the good memories will remain.

Well, I am closing in on my first full year with T, and I do feel I am on the path towards habituation. I would just like to thank everyone on Tinnitus Talk for your support and great advice over this past year; in particular @glynis who, early in my first month, advised me to: "Keep the positivity going, and that will help you through the tough times." Advice like this made all the difference for me; thank you.

I hope all my T. friends a wonderful New Years celebration, and all the best in 2018!

Cheers!
Jim

@Sheamus,

I was too late. Anyway happy new year to you all!
My wish for 2018 is to get rid of hyperacusis completely. And along the way I'm going to keep a kind of journal here...so that I can be of help to you. Imagine what fun it will be without any anxiety or stresses to everyday sound! I expect it will be hard this year but really I have no choice but to treat it myself only to live..

Spending our New Years eve
Having a nice relaxing granny and grandad evening with our grandsons sleeping over and a lovely way to start 2018 with our two gorgeous grandsons.

A Happy New Year to all of us!

@glynis

Thank you and the same to you, Glynis.

I understand from your wishes that you forgave me for losing my temper in 2017 and becoming impolite.
The pictures you posted which give us a glimpse of your life are lovely and you are an awesome grandmother!

@Dana,
Thank you for your kind words and your a lovely person too !
