Currently Hearing Three Tinnitus Noises — Anyone Else Hear More Than One?

Hello everyone!

I am currently hearing 3 noises:
1. "Hssssss" ringing noise
2. Mosquito like noise
3. Wind/heart beat noise

Has this occurred to anyone before? It's kind of driving me more nuts. Also, I am currently sick with a cold. So I don't know if that has to do with the extra noises in my ear.

I tend to hear 3-4 noises myself, just the norm in my world.

It just started recently after I got a cold. Hopefully it goes away, I was just starting to be somewhat okay with just the hissing noise.

It's possible for an illness to annoy the tinnitus. Get better and hopefully it fades

Thank you. Today is my birthday and I can already tell my birthday is going to be full of sadness because of tinnitus . 1 month and 3 weeks of tinnitus.

Yea, I understand fully. Tinnitus is a shock to the mind, it takes time to understand what is going on with our tinnitus.

I am so sorry for this. I can relate. I got tinnitus a week before my birthday and spent the day crying because of a very rude audiologist and blasting tinnitus.
Cold can absolutely make tinnitus worse, hang in there, when you are better, you have every chance that T will get back to baseline.

I'm sorry as well! I hate this so much. It's like if life hates me. I already have tinnitus so why get me more sick. This is the second time I get sick while having tinnitus. 2 weeks ago I had a cold and it went away and now it's back.
