Definite GI Component — My Theories on My Tinnitus

Hi All, I just came across this website while searching digestive issues and tinnitus. I thought it was all in my head (lol, pun intended). Seriously, I have had tinnitus almost exclusively in my left ear for several years; it has been so long I can't say how many years with certainty. I mentioned to my doctor years ago that it seemed whenever I was constipated my tinnitus went very, very, loud. This has been a distinct pattern for me, but after getting a strange look from the doc. I stopped mentioning it. I had had stomach/constipation for my whole life. It seems to go in cycles. I know when it is getting bad because my ear screams at me. It is as if the pressure is building in my intestines and my ear is telling me about in in a very loud way. When my digestive system is working, my tinnitus is a lot more quiet. I think a blockage or something happens that builds the pressure that causes my ear to ring in a mad way.
I am just starting to read through some of the posts and suggestions that have helped other people here. Thanks in advance for them.

Another thing I think may be important is that I have Asperger syndrome. I read an article some time ago that their seems to be a relationship between the gut and AS too. I believe this to be true.
I know this sounds kinda gross, but I think a FMT may be of help to me. (FMT = fecal matter transplant). I can't seem to find any trials in my state, but am willing to travel if I can get in on one somewhere else. A FMT may help me with both my Asperger syndrome and tinnitus issues. Has anyone here heard of this, or know anyone who may be involved in such a study? It sounds gross, but it really is not (in my opinion).

Anyway, this is me. I hope to learn here.

I've had tinnitus for 2 years. This week I had a bad continuous spike, with no real cause. Only thing is I am constipated also this week. I'm not generally. As things got moving my spike had gone down gradually. I spike from many things for like, 6-8 hours. But this has been 4 days, I just linked it this morning with my bowl issues. WHO KNEW?? Right? Makes a person want to include their daily fiber without fail.
