Cause of Tinnitus
Gunshot
Daughter screamed at the top of her lungs in her room while we were playing when she saw a spider... my ear rang loudly for about thirty seconds and then went back down to normal hissing but elavated more after after my initial panic.

My tinnitus for eight months really hasn't reacted to anything... this is the first time it's done that in eight months.

Klonopin is needed today I think... super anxious now.

If it's already back to normal than you are likely fine. My ear rings louder to many noises, even just running water. I have screamed a few times (I really hate spiders and mice), no long term damage.

Anxiety can cause spikes. If you had anxiety to the noise it's very possible that is contributing.
