Yes it's possible
Once t has left the CNS you wake up and it's gone
These people don't post it back here but for the majority that's the way it goes
Happened to me once in he past
Woke up and gone for good
Until the next big acoustic trauma years later
I woke up some days with no T, but then it gets back hahaha
but i havent lost my hopes.
and yes there are cases....
but we wont surely know how much people get that spontaneous cure,
cause they seem to be busy living life to post here!
Must say the same, mine pretty much left, and then I was stupid again, right back to the start, although better at coping than the first time, I hope it does it again.

I was clubbing at a club in Bangkok about 5 years ago - had plugs of course but it was a small room very loud - Asia is super loud for music and venues small with close-by speakers
Damage added up to 20 years of clubbing / army shooting / Walkman etc.. Prior and early years wiht no plugs of course !
Had Loud T right after - a constant hiss , then distorted sound and H for a week or two too
The T disappeared after 2-3 weeks in one morning - I woke up and thought for myself - wow it's just gone !
Still remember the feeling of relief
Back then of course I never thought that t can stay forever so that may have helped too - the mindset is crucial
I think folks with anxiety / stress / depression are going to have difficulties getting their brain to switch it off - which it can
