Do you have any specific short term goals regarding improving your life with T?

Mine is to get a hearing test and get hearing aids if necessary. I am also making sure my diet is more balanced and getting vitamins and minaerals so I have no nutritional deficiences.

Emma - my short term goals a year ago were to stay out the hospital or the insane asylum. Well, so far I have accomplished that.

My biggest short term goal is to overcome the constant anxiety that accompanies my t and to get off the alprazolam I take about once a day (.25 mg). Long term i just want the T to no longer be an issue in my life. Oh yeah, and to lose some weight.

My short term goals are to stay calm about tinnitus, and to never give up hope!

As for more long-term goals:
I am going to see another doctor (an otolaryngologist who specializes in tinnitus) in a couple of months. In the meantime, I am seeing a chiropractic neurologist who is trying very hard to help me with my tinnitus/balance/pulsatile tinnitus issues. I am also trying my best to lead as normal a life as possible with tinnitus/pulsatile tinnitus.

I'm also trying to stay as healthy as possible, eating a balanced diet, taking supplements, and getting plenty of exercise.

Short-term goal: try not to get upset and keep realistic when my T keeps returning with a vengeance after I expected it to subside after finally getting through recent and prolonged life stress events.
Long-term: Stay focused on the positives while monitoring any progress and comprehensible publications in field, along with sporadic, continued involvement in support sites like this one. Finding tinnitustalk definitely aided progress in the ability to cope with the condition.
