My neighbors have a golden retriever that they leave in their backyard all day and this type of dog is known to have the loudest bark in the world at 113 decibels. They dont bark that much when they do it is very loud. I know I am inside my house, but I am still very close to the dog. Could this be a problem??

No you should be fine but I know how that feels as my neighbours dog woofing all day drives me up the wall ontop of tinnitus...lots of love glynis

Golden retriever is not known as a frequent
barking dog..i known a lot of them and im quite comfortible in their company. I have much more problems when small dogs barking.

I have 3 small dogs. One is a half Jack Russell. He has an ear splitting screeching bark every time he wants to go out or he feels ignored. Fortunately it never really bothers my ears. I might be used to it.

I have a big staffie x working breed mix. He likes to sleep with his snout on my shoulder and if he happens to be having exciting dreams he'll let out a huge bark right beside my ear. It's never hurt my ears at all but does make me totally crap myself!
