Ear Cleaning Caused a Major Spike in My Tinnitus Today

Hi,

Today my ear doctor cleaned wax from my ear which caused a noticeable spike in my tinnitus.

It was basically a thoughtless and stupid thing to do.

Is this something to worry about in the long term, or should it disappear overnight? Very upset.

I do recall few people posting about the dangers of microsuction (if that was the method used)
Manual cleaning is the only way for someone with Tinnitus.
