Ear Infection and Pink Eye — Will Antibiotics Bring Down My Worsened Tinnitus and Ear Fullness?

I have already had tinnitus for a month from concert... managed to catch a cold despite my best attempts not to. I was doing horribly, then ok. Then horrible, then ok mentally with the tinnitus.

Now I have an ear infection in my left ear. Just barely started my antibiotics, I'm hoping the fullness will go down and the volume of the tinnitus in the affected ear will too.

Does anyone have any hope for me that treating the ear infection will help?

I haven't had an ear infection since tinnitus onset, but I think, when the fullness and clogged feeling resolves, your tinnitus will go back to baseline, because you will hear more from the outside world. Also, I don't have the link, @Bill Bauer shared it, that lots of people who had acoustic trauma due to being in close proximity to bombing had their resulting tinnitus lessen and even go away. So don't give up hope.
But be careful, because some of the antibiotics are ototoxic, aminoglycosides ("mycins" ) are definitely are, so if possible, avoid them.

I've been on Augmentin but it's been 7 days out of the 10 prescribed and the infection is lingering. I'm a little worried because may have to go back and be changed. Not sure what antibiotics are safe for tinnitus. Is there a list?

Yes, there is. You can search for "Ototoxic Brochure" in Google, or if I'm correct, Dr. Nagler shared a list as well. Generally speaking, aminoglycosides are considered to be the more connected to tinnitus. Amoxicillin which is in Augmentin is considered to be pretty safe.

Unfortunately it hasn't been completely eradicating the infection and I'm still having pain into the 8th day. So may go back tomorrow to see what can be done or should be done. I don't think it's going to heal up in two days. But it would be great if it did. I may have to go on something else besides the Augmentin.
