Hi,

Any advice on ear plugs when playing with bands? I find my little acoustic duo summer patio gigs don't aggravate my tinnitus, but we're not loud and situated behind the speaker line anyway.

But I play about 8 gigs around the holidays with a band that has drums and amps and I'm concerned about that. I am not looking forward to playing with earplugs but am resigned to working with it.

Where does one find earplugs for musicians? I know they're not cheap. Does the makers of such things need that graph they gave me to show me where my hearing loss is...I mean if they can custom make them?

Thanks!

Yes . look up musicians plugs. Your local audiologist will most likely be able to help you get fitted. I play in a wedding band and the same scenario. Get the ER-25 filters for max protection.
