Hello, I hope you're all doing well. I'll introduce myself. My ear issues started with a flotation therapy back in last September. I wasn't really warned about the dangers of getting Epsom salt water in your ear so my ears were submerged as I laid there and relaxed.
A few days after, the water had dried and the salt had crystallised in my ear. Fortunately, I found a remedy of 50/50 vinegar and water this dissolved the salts. Unfortunately, I was left with this fluttering sensation that has persisted to now. I believe it to be MEM (Middle Ear Myoclonus).
My grave mistake was when I had this sensation of fullness in my ear. Thinking it was a build up of wax, I used Otex ear drops. I let the solution drain out and then stupidly used Earol ear drops straight after in an attempt to try something else. I had blocked my ear and got a sharp ache. Tinnitus commences. It has persisted for 5 months today.
Really wish I was given more advice prior to my float session as this caused a domino effect. I sometimes day dream of silence.
