Cause of Tinnitus
ear clogged
I had ear fullness for 5 days now, and today I went to a ENT and the doctor said I had ear wax build up and that he couldn't see my eardrum. He used something that put water in my ear to get it out. It took maybe 5 minutes. Both ears had bad wax build up but only the left one had a clogged feeling. After the wax removal I could hear better but my left ear still felt sticky or like there's something that needs to release... pressure maybe? I asked him about the feeling and he said use ear drops to get the thin line of wax that's still in there. He actually said to me think of it like peanut butter on a mirror, you can get most of it off but there's a cloudy residue left. He said that's what I'm feeling. So I thanked him and left... I wish I would of pushed the issue more though.

I feel like my ear needs to let out pressure. I didn't mention the ringing of my ear because I wasn't thinking about it for one, and he said there's still a thin line of wax, so I thought maybe the ringing goes away slowly too. I got the wax removed around 2:30 pm and it's 9:33 pm and I still have ringing in my left ear.

Has anyone experienced tinnitus during wax build up/ear clogged and after the wax removal does it take time for the tinnitus to go away?
