I've been having this echo-like feeling/sound in my ear for a couple of days while chewing, especially crunchy food. It's in my cursed left ear. Other, right ear, is slightly clogged, but couldn't "Valsalva it" out.

What can it be? Eustachian Tube acting up?

I had something like this. Tapping my skull also made a hollow water melon like sound. I used Debrox and it stopped, so assumed it was wax related. I think on rare occurrences it could create a pocket near you ear drum or something similar: not sure why the Debrox would have changed the situation otherwise.

If yours doesn't sound exactly the same then I'm sure there could be other reasons too.

Sounds like it to me.
