Hi Dr.Nagler,
For some reason I can't respond to the thread I started. Here is the original: https://www.tinnitustalk.com/threads/steroid-prednisone-treatment.6404/
I came back from the doctor. My second hearing test showed that my left ear is back to normal (first hearing test, I had a loss in high frequency). My doctor told me that this is a good sign that the steroids are working. I asked her to give me another week supply of prednisone. My T is now a light hiss (like something is crystallizing) , I hear it when it's quiet. It woke me up a few times the past few days. Do you think I should take the prednisone for another week (so it can help heal my ear) or should I just wait and see how my T is for the next few days and then decide ?
Sorry to be a bother.
