So, I have bad Gingivitis, and will have to get two injections of Arestin into my Gums. Is this dangerous at all for Tinnitus or the Ears? I know some antibiotics can cause/worsen tinnitus, and I've read horror stories about people who had Botox injections and stuff that have them various Ear/Eustachian Tube problems.

So, yeah, anybody ever had this done? Is it pretty safe? I kinda need to get it, but am always scared with anything Dental related, pretty much. :(

No one? I'm thinking I may just cancel the appointment for tomorrow until I can find more information on this. Not sure what to do. Anti-biotics in general are something I'm very wary of.

And well you should be. -- From MY perspective, there's absolutely no need to go the extreme route of using antibiotics for a gum infection. If you don't have one, buy your self a teeth/gum irrigator, and irrigate with hydrogen peroxide solution. You gums will probably bleed at first, but will likely stop within a week.

Also, buy yourself a 1 kilogram container of Nutribiotic sodium ascorbate powder. Put a 1/4 teaspoon in your mouth several times throughout the day, and let it absorb as much as possible before swallowing it. If you have gingivitis, you also have localized scurvy in your gums, and they're starving for Vitamin C.

There's tons of other things you could do, including using essential oils, OTC chlorine dioxide dental products, oil pulling, brushing with golden seal powder, etc. The possibilities are almost endless. Antibiotics should only be used as a LAST resort. Just my opinoin of course.

All the Best...
