I had mild exposure to paromomycin. You can read my introduction for a longer description. I had taken a single 250mg capsule. I'm about 5-6 weeks into tinnitus and facial/head pressure that hasn't resolved. I feel as though my noise sensitivity may have improved, and maybe some dizziness.

Anyway, I know this is rather specific, but has anyone had similar experiences or have any idea of recoverability?

      Hi!

I've been doing as much research as I can on neomycin (also an aminoglycoside) and found out that it's commonly prescribed in the SIBO (GI issue) community. So far I found one person who developed tinnitus in one ear, along with fluid buildup, which lasted one month after he took about 1000mg of neomycin. He was on B12 injections at the time and thinks maybe that could have helped the tinnitus go away. I've read there is evidence of B12 being otoprotective if given with the antibiotic. So it's hard to say if his tinnitus would have disappeared without the B12 or not.
