Tinnitus Since
2002
Hi everyone,
my name is Frank and I've has T since 2002 while I was in the army after an aucustic trauma where several gunshots were fired near my ears. Since then T improved to a point where it was tollerable and not debilitating to my everyday life.

About a week ago I was injured while playing soccer; my meniscus has been torn and since then my T has flared up to a fairly untollerable state. I'm going through the panic stages again, and it's causing me trouble with day to day life.

I was wondering if T has been known to respike following physical injuries unrelated to the ears. Is this possible?

I'm glad to have found this community, and hope to get to know you all

My most heartfelt best wishes to you all in the hopes of a cure

Hi Deb, nice to have a neighbour!
All I took was Mobic Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication that my doctor gave me.

I've also taken some Mirtazapine in order to sleep in the evening.

I feel as though my hearing is a little more sensitive than usual, and this is what's causing my T to sound significantly louder than before.

Does this make sense?

Thank You for your message, I hope you are in good spirits
