- Cause of Tinnitus
- Possible teeth grinding but not sure
I posted here in mid july and was experiencing very high pitch tinnitus, however towards the end of July and early August the tinnitus was a lot lower, there was still noise but it was easy to mask and I could function okay. Then last Friday I went to a restaurant for a friends farewell and the restaurant was quite noisy, it was not music noise just sort of general acoustics with lots of people talking. Anyway that finished at 10pm and at 1045pm that night the horrible screeching high pitch tinnitus came back and I still have it today (monday) and it has not dropped down in pitch since friday night. Not even 5 minutes. Its really high pitch and goes way above any tv noise etc.
I was wondering is it possible that a noisy restaurant could to this to me? I am so upset with myself that I went to the dinner at the restaurant. Its not like I said yes to going to a concert or something, it was just a restaurant but I am so distressed that I went. Its screeching non stop and I am worried its going to stay at this high pitch forever and I just don't think I can cope at this severity.
I am wondering is it a " normal" time reaction , as in it came 45 minutes after being at the restaurant? I was at the restaurant from 6:30pm till 10pm. Is that the time frame when tinnitus spike is in response to noise?
Thanks for reading. I hope this post makes sense!!! I am so distressed I am struggling to coherent sentences!
