Help to Cope, Can't Sleep, Got Tinnitus After 2 Rounds of Penicillin

Hello, I am fairly new to tinnitus. Started with sinus infection.
After 2 rounds of penicillin started getting ringing constantly in ears plus my blood pressure and anxiety level have increased majorly.

Can't sleep. Help!

Sinus infections can block your tubes and cause tinnitus.
Sudefed and steam inhalation should help clear the mucous.
Blood preasure and anxiety can cause or worsen tinnitus so I would get your doctor monitor your BP and advise you on how to lower it etc.

Tinnitus comes with lots of unwanted emotions and they can be just as bad as coping with the sound itself.

Anxiety,panic ,sleep loss,low mood and coping at work and family life can take its toll.
Melatonin can help sleep or a low antidepresant for sleep or sleeping tablets short term .
Sound therapy will help by playing natural sounds through out the night set low to help mask your tinnitus.

Avoid loud noise, and chug probiotics to try to repair your guts from the antibiotics. I like keifer, personally.

 

Just give it time and see what happens. having probiotics, is very important when taking antibiotics.
