Just found you all purely by accident. What a great site. I shall enjoy reading all the posts.
For the record, I am 63 and have bilateral
pulsatile tinnitus and ordinary tinnitus since 2000.
Have been all through the MRI, ultrasound blah blah stuff.

Just noticed that following my 3 monthly treatment by my osteopath for a normal neck "MOT"...my PT is better after my neck has been re aligned. He suggests I get my vertebral artery checked out, so have arrange with my specialist to do a MRA on that. Never know.

We have to keep plugging away.

see you all on the threads. ;)

Hi, Fuggs. Welcome to Tinnitus Talk!

I'm in my 60's, and have both pulsatile tinnitus and ordinary tinnitus (unilateral), too. I've had a variety of tests, and nothing unusual was found.

That is great that your PT improved after a neck alignment! I'll be interested to hear what your specialist has to say about the possibility of a vertebral artery being the cause.

I'm at a point where, after trying chiropractors, acupuncture, etc., nothing seems to work, so I have been living with it. My tinnitus and PT both seem to be a little bit better now; it has been 3 1/2 years since mine started, due to an ototoxic drug, and I am hoping it will continue to improve.

We're glad you've joined us, and I hope we'll hear more positive news regarding your pulsatile tinnitus!

Best wishes,
Karen
