Great that it works for more people!
I'm going visit a spa where they have thermal water bathes. Really looking forward to that!
I swear by my hot bath, it's what keeps me ploughing through my day. Try Epsom Salts too!!!Hi all,
When I take a hot bath my tinnitus sometimes reduces enormously. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with lowering my blood pressure or increasing the blood flow. I don't think the effect could be completely due to relaxation.
Any ideas?
Hot bath increases your Blood Pressure, but it also relaxes you.Hi all,

I wish my bathtub wasn't disgusting. There is no way I'd be able to relax in it.
I feel like my t is from neuro or cardio vascular problems and anything soothing helps it. Be it a bath, massage, sauna etc.All you hot bath responders.. We need to figure out exactly why this happens. It's not for every case of Tinnitus but it seems to be the answer for the overnight spikers. Is it purely the relaxation or is it the hydration.. There's not many possible factors here. It takes up to an hour and a half for a bath to stop my Tinnitus but it will work, everytime.. Eventually.
Sir I believe it is the exact opposite.Hot bath increases your Blood Pressure, but it also relaxes you.
Here is why.We need to figure out exactly why this happens.
You must be correct my friend.A nd all this time I believed the opposite. Thank you.Sir I believe it is the exact opposite.
Here is why.
When you're cold your capillaries constrict to keep the blood in your core. When capillaries constrict it causes hypertension, which causes elevated blood pressure because the volume of your circulatory system decreases. When you're warm, your capillaries relax and let more blood flow to get closer to the surface of your skin so they so you can transfer the heat out of your body and that increases the volume of your circulatory system. When capillaries relax it causes hypotension, which lowers your blood pressure.

"Blood pressure generally is higher in the winter and lower in the summer. That's because low temperatures cause your blood vessels to narrow — which increases blood pressure because more pressure is needed to force blood through your narrowed veins and arteries."

It's cool. We are always learning new things and helping each other along the way. I certainly don't know everything and I'm just constantly waiting to find out about something else that I am wrong about. You must be correct my friend.A nd all this time I believed the opposite. Thank you.
